bootlegbby's 2018 future funk album 2009grind is probably one of the poppiest and most accessible things he's ever put out. The VHS pop influence is incredible, "nevaevastop" is probably one of the best future funk songs of all time, and the entire album feels warm and vibrant. Definitely give it a listen.

So nice that I bought it again. It's been an excellent treat to watch hatena/bootlegbby improve over the years I've known them, and even more excellent to see this amazing album out there on vinyl!
I've mentioned previously when reviewing this that the chops on this are some of the more impressive ones out there in VHS Pop, and that hasn't changed a bit. In the year or so this album's been out originally, you're still losing 100% if this isn't in your collection to some degree and in some form. Favorite track: pl4yyy.
